Get to know all about Chaitra, our wonderful HR Executive. Chaitra is a fantastic member of the team, who is hard-working, dedicated and a lovely person to be around.
Chaitra has taken the time to answer a few of our questions, so you can get to know a little bit more about her!
1. Can you give us a two-sentence bio about yourself?
I am an open-minded individual, living in the loving city of Milton Keynes with my family. My life revolves around my amazing daughter, home and work, and the love and support that my family and friends offer.
2. What do you do at Ampower on a daily basis?
I work as HR Executive, managing HR data, supporting all processes of the employee life cycle, produce management information reports, strive towards individual and collective contribution to the achievement of the company’s goals.
3. What do you enjoy most about your job?
Getting to interact with everyone across departments from newbies to management, knowing them, and getting involved in the process of recruitment, talent and performance management, learning and organisational development, etc.
4. What advice were you given in life that has stuck with you?
My Brother-in-law telling me “Do what you think is best and enjoy life!!”
5. As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to do many things that would help people, but as I grew up, I badly wanted to become a Microbiologist, and I did too!
6. How do you relax when you’re not at work?
I love sports, especially playing Badminton; I am a hobby artist, and I love doing quick watercolour paintings. I like visiting galleries, buildings or cities of historical significance.
7. What accomplishment are you most proud of?
I am proud of my family and friends I have earned across the years now. Looking back at things; at what I have been through and learnt throughout childhood, school and college; life across two countries, I am very proud of how capable and independent I have become today. My dream is to help other women to be capable of the same. Maybe that day will be my proudest achievement.
8. What is your most treasured possession?
Integrity!!
9. Tell us something different about yourself?
Ha ha… Let me beat my own drum when I can!! I love being a ‘be good, do good’ people’s person. Love learning and exploring, - whether it’s folklore in villages or culture and traditions across countries. Have always luckily been good at sports, art, dance and discussions, thus when time permits would like to get involved in the same, - either learning or teaching!!
