Ampower bills are very straight forward and Easy to understand. There are no hidden or confusing components. The important components of our bill apart from your Unit charges would be the Fixed Charges, Climate Change Levy, Supply capacity charges. These are the main headings in your bill.
Climate Change Levy is mandatory Environmental Tax imposed by government on all businesses. Some of the charitable institutions and horticultural societies are exempted for Climate Change Levy on production of exemption certificate. Please refer to www.gov.uk and search for Climate change Levy exemption for more information or speak to our customer care representative on 03301 331 050 if you think you qualify for Climate Change Levy exemption.
Please contact National Grid Immediately on 0800 111 999 for Gas leak. Please find useful information at the back of your bill for Power Cuts.
If you need to change your premises, please get in touch with our customer care team in as much advance time as possible and they will guide you through the process. Our customer care team will take care of all the necessary documentations and ensure you have a smooth transition.
We would need you to give us your current meter reading when you switch to us. This would be the closing meter reading of the previous supplier. Our meter reader would take your meter reading according to our policies which are in line with the legislation. You are also welcome to submit your own reading to ensure accurate billing.

Please submit a reading on the last day of every month to ensure you are billed on actual usage rather than being billed on estimated usage. Being billed on estimated usage could result in you being overcharged.
